Power Electronics Engineer/Supervisor

Goodrich Electro Optical Systems is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer/Supervisor. The successful candidate will lead a technical team in the design, development, building, and testing of brushless DC motor electronics, DC/DC converters, and other analog circuits used in space flight applications. Working knowledge of the following electrical and electronic areas of expertise is required: Professional experience in the design and testing of resonant converters including Class-E, Half-bridge, full bridge and Push-Pull topologies; Experience in PWM and PFM controllers; Must be capable of planning and managing several projects in parallel. Perform detailed failure analysis and write technical reports. Design/develop ATEs, procedures, and methods. Desired experiences include 15 yrs related experience with a BSEE/MSEE in Electrical Engineering. Electromagnetic experience, knowledge of space environments, and experience with international customers (especially Asian) a plus.
