Power Electronics Engineering ? Multiple Openings - $75K to $120K
Power Technology Associates is currently staffing positions for multiple Midwest based clients in the Hybrid E/V, Industrial Controls/Drives, Power Quality, Distributed Power Generation, Aerospace/Aircraft and Satellite industries. We are looking for seasoned, professional engineers with experience/expertise in ANY of the following areas:
High-power (100K+) inverter and DC/DC converter design.Power converters and controls for 2300-12000VAC systems.Embedded control algorithm/software for 1KW-1MW systems.Knowledge of actuators and FAA requirements for secondary flight controls. Embedded code using TI DSP?s, Xilinx, Altera CPLD & FPGA?s, C, C++, VHDLTrapezoidal/Field-oriented controls for PM brushless motors.Electric motor analysis, design, test, validation, and prototyping.Working knowledge of Matlab, Simulink, PSpice, etc.Aircraft secondary power generation and distribution systems.High voltage (5-15KV) power supplies to power 10KW amplifiers.Multiple DPG technologies ? windpower, fuel cell, microturbine, solar, gensets.High-power, high-frequency switching, controls, and motor topologies.Mechanical packaging of electronic devices ? inverters, controllers, drives, etc.
