Power Electronics & Variable Speed Technology Lead Engineer

Kelly Engineering Resources along with a World-Class Fortune 100 manufacturer of A/C, heating and refrigeration solutions is seeking a Power Electronics and Variable Speed Technology Lead Engineer. This position is located located in Farmington, CT and offers an amazing relocation package for the right candidate.

This position will work closely with Supply Chain Management and Product Development teams to consolidate the existing inverter programs, identify a set of strategic suppliers and develop a roadmap for integrating this technology into products. This position will have overall responsibility for variable speed technology as it can be applied to products.

Responsibilities shall include planning and managing the development and introduction of variable speed technology, assisting with the development of on going programs utilizing this technology, identifying internal and external resources to support this technology, assisting with the devleopment of reliability and qualification specifications for this technology and identifying additional opportunities wher this can be applied.

This role will require the ability to coordinate multiple activities, stron analytical and problem solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact and communicate with customers, engineers, and the factory.

Requirements for this position include a Master's degree in engineering with 7+ years related experience required (PhD or intent to obtain preferred). Technical skills should include a strong work background in statistical analysis, power electronics and variable speed technology to product platforms.
