Position Descriptions & Responsibilities

 

The applicant will be responsible for design, implementation and test of electronics for precision sensors for high accuracy navigation involving low-noise analog signal processing, high-performance data conversion electronics, complex digital signal processing algorithms and precision fiber optics.

 

The applicant for this position should have demonstrated competence in the above areas as well as a thorough understanding of high speed mixed-signal PCB designs.  Special consideration will be given to applicants with demonstrated experience in real-time FPGA / ASIC based signal processing. The ideal candidate will have proficiency with the following technical areas:

 Sensor interfacing Signal conditioning A/D and D/A conversion Low noise PCB layout techniques Control systems design and analysis Circuit simulation using Spice variants Modeling and analysis of mixed signal feedback systems using Matlab / Simulink and VHDL

 

The opportunity for technical leadership of multi-disciplinary teams is available to candidates who also possess good leadership and communications skills.

 

Required Education & Experience

M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years direct experience and demonstrated competence in analog electronics design, analysis, simulation, implementation and test.  Exceptional candidates with a B.S. and 10+ years directly related experience will also be considered.
