Principal Electrical Engineer

Keys:

- BSEE minimum (MSEE preferred) with minimum of 7 years Electrical Engineering experience - hands-on analog and

digital design and exp. with microprocessors in an avionics, military electronics or aerospace environment.

- Experience must include demonstrated senior level engineering expertise in analog and digital design including

analog signal conditioning and digital design using ORCAD, AutoCAD and related engineering diagnostic tools and

equipment.

- Must have Project management experience including effective technical leadership and customer interface and lead role

on design efforts as part of experience

- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance may be required for certain projects or programs.

- US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Status is required for ITAR/EAA controlled projects or programs

- Must maintain professional demeanor, effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines, exceptional interpersonal,

written, and verbal communication skills.

- CMMI exp. a plus

 

Duties:

- Serve as technical lead and/or primary technical resource on project teams and hardware engineering activities.

- Define and analyze flight control concept designs and design requirements based on project requirements and write

design requirements documents.

- lead and perform analog circuit design for sensor integration and digital design for microprocessor interfacing

- Lead and perform prototype board level testing and debugging

- Collaborate with software and mechanical design engineers in planning, design and development of systems.

- Develop hardware and electrical interface designs and specifications in conjunction with design team and enforce

control documents.

- Create and maintain product and circuit design schematics and related technical documents

- Write engineering test requirements and system/subsystem test plans. Perform or oversee testing.

- lead and participate in system and hardware design reviews; team meetings, and management meetings

- Provide technical support to business development activities including specifications for proposals and consultation on

proposed technology solutions.
