Principal Engineer, IT Security

This is a Permanent or Contract-to-Permanent job just northwest of Philadelphia, PA.

This individual will participate in the design and implementation of IT Security controls surrounding the applications supporting the business. The candidate should have a solid understanding of IT Security Administration as it relates to Network, Application and Database control implementations. This will be demonstrated by a combination of work experience, training and certification programs. 

 

Chief duties include:

 

?  Integrate centralized security of 40+ web applications into single portal  infrastructure using IBM Tivoli suite of applications.

?  Aligning business drivers with secure, automatic, self sustaining provisioning and de-provisioning of users.

?  Monitoring controls and processes that maintain a secure computing environment.

?  Support of the above framework once rolled out.



Qualifications:

 

?  10+ years overall experience in IT

?  5+ years of Unix Systems Administration Experience

?  LDAP: Sun One, Active Directory, IBM Tivoli Directory Server

?  Languages: UNIX shell scripting, Perl, SQL, Java, Javascript

?  Middleware: IBM Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM), WebSphere

?  Strong written and verbal communication skills

?  Ability to collaborate with teammates on design and implementation work

?  Strong Architectural design and analysis skills

 Educational & Experience Requirements:

 Bachelors degree CISSP a plus GIAC certification a plus
