Principal MMIC Design Engineer / LPBU980

Position Description: Responsible for the specific MMIC designs for commercial applications in broadband wireless markets based on specifications jointly developed with product managers. Tasks include confirming that available measurement data and modeling data is sufficiently accurate for specific MMIC design success. This may include helping support staff to obtain the data and verify models. The MMIC design task also includes working with CAD/Layout to ensure the final layout represents the modeled circuit and informing test personnel on how the designs should be tested. Finally, verification analysis of the fabricated performance is required which includes indications of model shortcomings and strengths.


Qualifications:

MSEE and a minimum of 5 years related experience, with at least 2 years of direct experience in MMIC based product design. Working knowledge of microwave design and simulation tools, ability to set up and performa common microwave tests and strong written and verbal communication skills.
