POSITION PURPOSE:

The Product Engineering position is part of the hardware product development organization. The Product Engineer will:
Perform the electrical integration of pacemakers and defibrillators (design, integration and test) at the printed circuit board level and the device (product) level. Lead the hardware integration effort to deliver a final electrical hardware system. The Product Engineer needs a breadth of knowledge related to the functions and tasks required to develop an electronic product. The Product Engineering positions provide both the challenge and satisfaction of getting a final product out the door and to the customers.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? The Product Engineer will:
 Perform the electrical design of pacemakers and defibrillators (design, integration and test) at the printed circuit board level and the device (product) level
 Lead the hardware integration effort to deliver a final electrical hardware system
 The Product Engineer needs a breadth of knowledge related to the functions and tasks required to develop an electronic product
 The Product Engineering positions provide both the challenge and satisfaction of getting a final product out the door and to the customers.
? The job requires a solid understanding of circuit design and analysis fundamentals. The circuit level design, analysis, and modeling work that can be characterized as 75% analog and 25% digital, and includes mixed-signal circuits.
? The job requires expertise in RF system design and integration, and RF analysis/testing
? This person will lead the integration of RF functionality into devices. Person should be familiar with RF concepts and keywords:
RF systems, RF integration, Smith chart, s-parameters, antenna, RF measurements, EMI, EMC, RF troubleshooting, RF links, RF transmitter, RF receiver, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, RF Band, RF components, ETSI, transmission lines, wireless.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

? Engineering degree
? 7-10 years of relevant engineering experience in product development
? Working knowledge of circuit level design, analysis and modeling including two or more years of analog circuit experience
? Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership
? Demonstrated design verification and troubleshooting skills
? At least three years of RF experience
