Kelly Engineering Resources currently has a permanent need with one of our biggest clients in the Medical Device Industry.
Principal Segment Engineer Infusion Systems Manager
Qualified candidates would provide deep technical domain expertise for devices within Infusion Systems Instrumentation. Final technical authority for Infusion Systems Instrumentation organization. Develop long-term product roadmap in conjunction with 'global product manager' (key commercial lead) and VP R&D.
Develop technology roadmap for Infusion Systems Instrumentation. PAC member for segment. Technical due diligence for acquisition/partnerships. Partner with external thought leaders, academia, customers, etc. Provide technical assessment of impact of technical decisions on medical outcomes ' liaison between R&D and clinical / medical affairs. Generate new and innovative ideas to advance sub-systems technology, efficiency and commercial application within sub-system. Generate new and innovative ideas to advance technology, efficiency and commercial application within segment.
Job Requirements
Masters Degree in technical related field required. PhD desired. 15+ years experience in multiple technical disciplines including medical device industry. Demonstrated experience developing commercially sound technology roadmaps. Strong systems engineering knowledge with track record of making sound technical decisions. Recognized thought leader and innovator in one or more domains with broad knowledge of segment.
