Principle Software Engineer

Responsibilities:   The individual will be part of a team of web developers responsible for the development and support of a distributed Internet application for the ACT! product line. Will be responsible for designing, estimating, coding, testing and debugging new features. Will be required to work well with others in completing projects on time and for daily support (maintenance) of web-based applications in a highly collaborative environment. ACT! is the #1 best selling contact management system that helps individuals, small businesses, and corporate workgroups effectively manage details of their business relationships to grow their businesses and increase sales. 

 

Requirements:

 

8+ years development experience is required. An interest in devloping ASP.NET, C#, Web Services, and XML is required. Candidate must have experience with Object Oriented Programming using Java, J2EE and/or .NET technologies, C++, COM/DCOM, etc. Experience using MS Visual C++, MS MFC, COM, SQL, MS Active Server Pages, Multi-threading, and a thorough understanding of developing scalable internet applications is highly desired. Additionally, experience in creating web-based application interfaces for interaction with servers and experience developing software with User Design methodology is highly preferred. Strong verbal/written communications skills are required. A Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math is required.
