Pro-E/Solid Works Designer-l -Wire Harnesses/HVAC

A local Detroit Metro company are seeking several full time Electrical Design Engineers who are able to design vehicle electrical system layouts/schematics for Wire Harnesses for the automotive and/or military industry. The person we are seeking must have a BS in Electrical Engineering,or who have at least 3-5 years of experience with vehicle electrical layouts using modern engineering concepts.

 

We are seeking candidates for various positions: We are searching for Pro-E Designer's who are able to design HVAC Systems for the automotive industry and that can do basic engineering  calculations in regards to sizing etc....

 

We are also seeking Pro-E and/or Solidworks designers who are able to design full automotive wire harness design's and who are able to get inside of a vehicle and troubleshoot any issues with other engineers.

 

The candidates we are seeking must have experience in designing vehicle electrical system layouts,both concept and CAD models utilizing Solidworks and/or Pro-E!!!! The candidates we are seeking must be able to create vehicel harness/wire harness drawings and/or diagrams, and do developmental electrical work. The candidates we are seeking must be able to get into a vehicle if need be and conduct wire development and troubleshoot problems(i.e. "hands-on" work is very desirable). You must have a good understanding of modern electrical design, for example : CAN bus technology such as J1939, 1587 etc...

 

The candidates we are seeking must have an excellent understanding of automotive electrical systems and/or vehicle harnesses, chaffing,hot, cold, etc...and you must have on the job experience utilizing Pro-E and/or Solidworks.
