Probe Engineer - Imaging Products

As a Probe Engineer within the Imaging Product Group at Micron, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting test strategies to provide low cost, effective and creative solutions for test strategies, hardware and programs for Micron's CMOS imaging product line.  The explosion of consumer products that contain cameras is driving significant market growth for these devices. This is a critical role in providing feedback to internal groups as well as producing a quality product for customers.  This position provides an excellent opportunity to interface with product engineers, design, quality, and other manufacturing groups.  This position may also include limited activity in a cleanroom environment.  The specific nature of the daily responsibilities can be expected to evolve and change in the future to meet new goals and business objectives.



Successful candidates will have good written and oral communication skills as well as strong problem solving skills.  Entry level to intermediate experience in programming in any language and the ability to work in a fast paced team environment is necessary to be successful in this role. Experience in the following is a plus:  Knowledge of optics related to imaging devices, CMOS, semiconductor device knowledge, automated testing and measurement experience, advanced programming or practical application experience in high level program languages.


 


Required Education:
Minimum of a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline is required.
