Process Development Associate - 2491

Responsibilities
This individual will join the Purification Process Development group at ICOS working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of development and manufacturing personnel.

?Development of purification processes for recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies for eventual use in a cGMP setting
?Scale-up and transfer of processes into a cGMP manufacturing facility
?Hands-on development of procedures for cell lysis and clarification, chromatographic separations, and ultra-filtration
?Experimental planning, detailed record keeping, data analysis and reporting
?Depending upon experience level, this individual may serve as a process development representative on project teams

Requirements:

?B.S. degree in chemical or biochemical engineering, biochemistry, or chemistry
?A minimum of two years experience in a process development laboratory is preferred, however, entry level candidates will be considered
?Experience with common protein purification procedures and analytical methods
?Process purification, scale-up, and hands-on experience with automated processing equipment such as AKTA Design is a plus
?Strong problem-solving and communication (oral and written) skills
?Personable and mature and a willingness and desire to work with others
?Strong work ethic and initiative
