Process Engineer - Injection Molding

Job Description: Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Process Engineer with on-floor experience in injection molding.  The ideal candidate will qualify new tools prior to production and troubleshoot existing tooling and process issues.  He or she will also work directly with production and process techs on any problem on the floor. 

 

Responsibilities:

?  Prepare set-up documentation
Develop, write, and implement production procedures
Train personnel
Schedule tool changes

 

Requirements:
5 to 7 years of experience working injection process
Strong process skills in regard injection molding
Quality oral and written communication skills
Ability to train and communicate any process improvements or changes
Capable of presenting materials to management
Skilled in implementing process improvements or changes

 

Education:

Bachelors Degree (Education may be substituted with significant experience working as a process engineer within custom and/or injection molding)

 

Preferred Experience:

Possessing the following would be a plus in considering you for this position
Previous experience as a custom molder

 

Rate of Pay:

$48,000 to $50,000 Annually

 

Hours:

1st Shift

 

Type of Employment:

Permanent, Full-Time

 

Location:

Commutable within the region of Wilmington / Fayetteville, North Carolina
