Process Engineer (Kenai, AK)

 

Provides a broad range of process engineering activities (including

safety and environmental issues) to the Kenai Refinery.  Duties include,

but are not limited to, monitoring assigned units for optimal

performance; maintaining process targets; troubleshooting process

problems; assisting with startups and shutdowns; evaluating process

improvements; designing and economically justifying small expansions/

modifications of process units. 

 

B.S. in Chemical Engineering, with five to ten years of increasingly responsible experience in refinery related industry.

 

Special skills:  Independently planning, organizing, scheduling,

coordinating and making decisions and judgments relating to assigned

projects and other responsibilities; applying sound analytical decision-

making processes and approaches; communicating effectively, verbally

and in writing, in a diverse range of audiences and settings; developing

alternative solutions to problems; synthesizing, comparing and

analyzing data; establishing working relationships and interacting effectively with a wide range of people.  Working knowledge of

Word/Excel.
