Process Engineer (LEAN/Six Sigma)

We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Process Engineer with Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma chemical manufacturing experience.

 

Our client is a major US specialty chemical company that produces leading performance polymer resins used in many consumer and industrial products. This position is in the company's state-of-the-art manufacturing plant located in the mid Ohio Valley near Parkersburg, WV.

 

In this key role in a thriving plant, you will identify and implement process improvement activities in several operating units. This includes technical & troubleshooting support, team leadership on capital project execution (process design, concept development), and new product development & commercialization.

We are very interested in individuals with the following background:

 


BS degree (Business/Accounting/Finance or Technical/Engineering w/MBA)
5-8+ years of process/production engineering experience in a polymer chemical manufacturing facility that utilizes Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is strongly preferred
Demostrated leadership skills & ability to complete multiple projects from inception to startup
Strong track record of identifying, prioritizing, and executing process improvements according to value, cost, and risk
