Process Engineer Staff

Essential Functions and Duties
Plan, conduct and direct complex projects or major phases of significant projects.
Define problems and objectives, develop approach, analyze results and provide recommendations.
Analyze and select components and equipment, as well as evaluate supplier capabilities.
Direct and manage design implementation of required changes and modifications.

Qualifications
Experience

10 years + work in the areas of gas dynamics, thermal transport, and/or reactor design. 5+ years
Experience with semiconductor capital equipment.

Knowledge

Depth and breadth of knowledge in theoretical, experimental, and engineering aspects of gas
dynamics. Strong foundation in transport processes and diagnostic methods of ionized gas media,
as well as heat transport in solids and engineering methods for temperature control. Practical
knowledge of etch chamber design and RF subsystem design./ Strong analytical skills that can be
transferred to different problems.

Formal Education

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.

Leadership

Experience in leading an engineering effort from concept and feasibility through pilot production in
the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
