Process Engineer - Systems Integration

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing process flows and their associated documentation for printed circuit board assemblies, surface mount and wave solder processes.  You will also develop new process flows and their supporting documentation.  In this position, you will assist in the specification and development of product specific tooling sets. 

 

Additionally, you will integrate and monitor statistical process control (SPC) during all aspects of production and coordinate experiments and process enhancements via the technician resource pool.  You will also develop equipment specifications for new and upgraded equipment sets related to surface mount and wave solder manufacturing.

 


 



Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years direct experience with surface mount and/or wave solder processes.  Experienced in SPC, Design of Experiments, and IPC specifications is desirable.

 

Must be self motivated with strong organization and supervisory skills.  Strong electrical background with good mechanical experience is paramount.  High levels of trouble shooting skills and detailed failure analysis techniques are required.  Ability to read and verify schematics and mechanical drawings required.  Must have strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Access.

 

Education
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
