Process / Field Engineer

Responsibilities include meeting with and understanding customer requirements, establishing processes to meet those requirements, analyzing manufacturing equipment and processes for ways to improve performance at the lowest possible costs. We'll also rely on you to lead equipment/system modifications as well as large capital projects.

Requirements include 5 - 7 years experience in process improvement/operational excellence project roles within the manufacturing sector. Candidates must have a degree in a technical field (preferably Chemical Engineering) and have the ability and desire to handle multiple projects at the same time. Demonstrated training and proficiency in statistical problem solving methodology and tools, i.e. design of experiments, minitab, analysis of variance, is required. Six Sigma certification strongly desired. Proven experience of the successful implementation of continuous improvement manufacturing programs in web coating and handling or paper converting industries using advanced techniques is a strong plus. Willingness to travel up to 50% to provide technical support to the customer is a requirement.
