Producer/Technical Director

DESCRIPTION:  AGEIA Technologies is looking for a dynamic individual who is interested in driving next level gaming via driving the production of internal and external teams in production of unique physics driven gaming titles. RESPONSIBILITES OF POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Development of Budget, Staffing Plan, and External team recruitmentProduction of key properties which leverage AGEIA PhysX Hardware AcceleratorContract negation with external teams (SOW, Production Plans & Design Documents)Deliver a quality product on-time, on-budget and to specificationIdentify, create and implement the standards of technical quality for deliverable productReview all design documents, production plans and budgetsProvide key leadership (internally & externally) and ensure consistent vision and goal setting Interface with publishing partners on milestones and deliverablesWork with Marketing and PR on promotion plans for productsPerformance reviews and goal setting for first party content team

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: 5+ years experience as a Technical Director/Project Manager/Producer for PC and/or Console GamesShipped at least 2 products in one of the above rolesExperience with managing internal and external teamsUnderstanding of issues facing various types of game play, artistic and technical considerations, and the ability to forecast the ramifications of decisions made during the concept/pre-production phaseProven ability to organize and oversee large project schedulesOne or more of the following skills:Artistic Tools (i.e. Photoshop, Maya, etc.)Experience working with external contract housesProgramming and/or coding experience in the games industry3D rendering experienceManagement of test teamsTrack record of successfully juggling multiple projects and short timelinesStandard project accounting procedures knowledgeExemplary communication skillsAbility to handle pressure and strict deadlines with grace

 

MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree in related field
