Product Assurance Specialist

Pay Rate Range: $55-$59/K W2 + an outstanding benefit package.
Overview:
Technically analyze newly commissioned turbines and site specific data for performance irregularities to prevent long term negative effect on turbines lifetime performance. Report such identified performance irregularities to the reliability, mechanical & electrical specialist group.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Collaborate with other groups within the Clients organization to collect data on an ongoing basis for an upfront technical performance review on newly commissioned turbines.
- Analyze data for performance irregularities types and report findings to reliability group.
- Validation of corrective actions.
- Assesses risk on potential and case issues.
- Trend performance for improved availability

EDUCATION, TRAINING & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Turbine, machine, Hydraulic or related field experience with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Experience in dealing with customers (Internal, external).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in dealing with design teams.
- Ability to work in an environment favoring high delegation of responsibility.
- Ability to work in an environment using a decentralized, team-based approach.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong field or manufacturing troubleshooting skills
- Experience as a Manufactuing Quality Specialist
- Six Sigma Certification is a plus

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders at heights up to 330 feet
- Ability to perform demanding work at heights and with adverse conditions during operations and when participating in emergency activities
- Ability to enter and work in a confined space
- Ability to pass a respirator physical and respirator fit test
- Valid drivers license and insurable by company?s vehicle insurance carrier

Other:
This is a contract position requires the work to be performed in a normal 40 hour workweek Mon ? Fri during standard business hours unless otherwise stated. You must be a very strong technical match to be considered.
