Product Coordinator

Job Purpose:

Process owner for the fabrication of structural bases, fabricated package components and power packages.  Establishes customer expectations, and manages the process to ensure customer and company expectations for cost, delivery and quality are maintained.  Focuses on the process of manufacturing to identify areas for improvement, and developing methods to reduce overhead while improving product throughput.


Duties:Interface with customers, translating customer demands into production requirements.Develop a production schedule and commit to delivery dates.Work closely with Q.C. to ensure customer requirements are properly addressed.Release materials requirements and production travelers and drawings to the organization.Develop product cost estimates for formal bid process and for standards to be loaded into the MRP system.

 

Skills/Qualifications:Degreed in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or similar field.Computer literate.  MicroSoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Familiar with 6 sigma concepts.Understanding of Quality Systems.
