Product Design Engineer ? Electrical System

(Power Distribution System)

 

 

Description:

This position designs and supports wire harnesses for vehicle on-board electrical systems in direct cooperation with the customer and their contracted suppliers.

 

Primary Duties:

?  Design of Power and Signal Distribution System

?  Integration of electrical/electronic subsystems into PASDS

?  Design of schematics with IVED layout

?  Develop 2D harness drawing design and form board layout

?  Choose and apply suitable components together with customer

?  Continuous contact with appropriate customer departments

?  Support 3D routing and fixing, PIMREP follow-up, component design, prototype installation and trail outs at customer; routing quality assessment

?  Change and cost management

?  Project documentation

 

Requirements for Positions:BS Electrical Engineering Several years experience with on-board electrical system developmentSeveral years experience in automotive industryStrong organization and communication skillsAbility to read and understand specs, IVED schematics, UG dataAbility to work independently in a cross functional team environment.Ability to work within tight deadlines and in high pressure environment.Good communication skills for interfacing with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing and customers both verbal and written.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and UG NX3 Viewer
