Title:Product Development. Engineering, Sensor Division Location:Fremont, CA Reports To:Engineering Manager PositionProduct development engineer for the package design & assembly process development of MEMS pressure sensors and MEMS microstructures.  ResponsibilitiesResponsible for product, process development, and hands-on prototyping of MEMS productsResponsible for testing, calibration and troubleshooting of piezoresistive MEMS sensors.Develops and releases process procedures and operator training for piezoresistive MEMS sensors manufacturing.Responsible for new product and product returns debuggingand test analysis.Responsible for customer and vendor interaction on a daily basis.Communication with offshore manufacturing team semi-nightly ongoing.Responsible for process documentation for new product release.

 

Skill SetsKnowledge of MEMS pressure sensor operational theory.Knowledge of microelectronic packaging.Knowledgeable in analog circuit troubleshooting, including wheatstone bridge analysis and amplifier circuits is considered a plusWill be working in one or all of the following technologies:  Welding, Adhesive joiningPlating/ MetallurgyMachined part/molding part designPlastic electronic packagingElectronic assembly Medical device standards

Computer ProficiencyVisual Basic software programming a plus. Knowledgeable in Microsoft EXCEL, and WORD.Must have Solid Works experience. Knowledgeable in use of ManMan MRP systems a plus.

 EducationCollege degree required. 2-5yrs experienceMinimum of 2 years MEMS sensors experience highly desired.

 Oversea travel required.
