Product Development: Magnetic Detection

Radiation Monitoring Devices, Inc., is a successful research company devoted to the development of new sensor, detector, and system technologies for commercial, medical and government use.  The opening is in the Advanced Instrumentation Group, where the focus is the development of magnetic sensors for non-destructive detection of flaw in metals and ICs, and for detecting biomedical signals. Compared to existing technologies, this technology offers greater sensitivity and portability resulting in highly detailed images of defects, anomalies and other fault conditions.

 

The opening is for a person who can support research scientists by advancing new technologies proven in the laboratory to functional prototype instruments that are market ready.  Learn more about our research at http://www.rmdinc.com/research/imaging.html 

 

 

The following education, skills and experiences are desirable for this position:

 

? Degree in electrical engineering or physics. 

? 3-5 years supporting research activities through industrial product development. 

? Experience working with customers, including calling and visiting

? Strong record of individual accomplishment

? Demonstrated ability to introduce new products to the marketplace

? Able to bride the gap between research scientists and users of a technology
