Product Development/Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Product Development/Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for product engineering and mechanical designing for a broad range of product lines related to toys and consumer products.

? Candidates must have 2+ experience in Product Development/Mechanical Design Engineering relative to Toys and consumer products

? Knowledge of Pro/E Wildfire 2.0 and AutoCAD mandatory

? Must have knowledge of manufacturing processes including but not limited to, manufacturing of plastics, soft goods, electronics and packaging

? Ability to develop engineer drawings from concept sketches

? Experience working with model makers and model shops abroad

? Ability to estimate cost of materials, part weight, labor and production processes

? Ability to work closely with all divisions involved and product development

? Able to provide track records and history of mechanical product designs showing all stages of development; from conceptual to production

? Knowledge of product and component sourcing a plus

? International travel may be frequent and is required

Education and Training

? BS in Mechanical Engineering

? 2+ years experience in development of high volume plastic molded parts

? 3+ years experience developing products in Toys and consumer products
