Product Engineer – 10G High Speed Mixed Signal: Fiber to the Chip!

We are looking for a talented Product Engineer!

Deep experience in one or more of these technologies is highly desirable:
10G/40G, Sonet, Phy, Mixed-Signal, High Speed IC/Chip, Serdes, 10Gbps, 10Ghz, Optical Networking Chips, Module, Controller, Backplane Transceiver, Optical Transceiver


Product Engineer ? Yield, Assurance, NPI, RMA, High Speed Mixed Signal Product Experience
Carlsbad, Ca (North San Diego/ ?Silicon Beach? ? Tech Area, 2 miles from Beach)

General Description:
- Identify root cause of all yield limiting factors and ensure there are structured corrective action programs to eliminate.
- Ownership of assurance that manufacturing processes deliver a quality product that meets customer expectations and specifications
- Work in a team environment with other departments such as design engineering, quality, test, applications engineering, marketing sales etc. Also works with external customers and suppliers as required.
- Play Key role in
- New product introduction process
- Product characterization/qualification
- Generation of test limits/guardbands
- Returned material/field failures
- Cost reduction/test time reduction

Work experience requirements:
- 8+ years in semiconductor manufacturing
- 5+ years prior product engineering experience
- High Speed, Mixed Signal products

Education Requirements
- Bachelor Science in Electrical Engineering or related engineering
