Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Senior Account Executive

Position Title: Senior PLM Account Executive

Location(s): Alpharetta, GA; Southfield, MI; Ft. Worth/Dallas/Houston, TX

Responsibilities: Responsible for TGS PLM sales covering a defined set of target accounts within a region and may be assigned one or more National Accounts. The focus of these positions is to maximize profitable revenue through selling incremental software and services to existing accounts and to new targeted prospects.

Activities and duties:

? Identify, develop, and close very large, long-term opportunities

? Provide sales support for existing customers as needed

? Identify new strategic business opportunities in existing accounts

? Prospect for new sales opportunities within assigned accounts

? Provide highly accurate 90 day rolling forecast on a regular basis as well as other information as required

? Develop and execute Strategic Account Plans that include a Positioning Sales Plan, Attack Sales Plan, and Protect Sales Plan that maximize revenue with the named account reps.

? Coordinate activities with other organizations within the company required to execute strategic solution offerings

? Attain personal quarterly and yearly quotas

Education:

Bachelors degree in Business/Marketing, Engineering or equivalent.

Skills and qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years in consultative strategic solution sales, preferably focused in the engineering manufacturing process. Previous experience in successfully developing and/or managing major accounts where significant revenue growth has been generated. Some national account management experience preferred.

The successful candidate will become part of a small, highly dynamic and fast moving team, and should be self-motivated and able to work on his or her own initiative. He/she should be a quick learner, able to solve problems and challenge existing assumptions. Thinking out of the box is an integral part of the position.

? Advanced knowledge of the Product Development Process as it relates to the IBM/DS PLM product suite, engineering applications and the consultative sales process required to close new business in a strategic value-based solutions approach

? Ability to make high level contacts within our major aerospace accounts, and develop strategic partnerships

? Ability to coordinate TGS sales and support efforts with national accounts that have multiple locations throughout North America

? Advanced knowledge of sales automation tools.

? Advanced organizational, interpersonal, and presentational skills.

? Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

? General computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

? Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage numerous activities in a multi-state area

? Ability to orchestrate company resources in a team selling environment

This position may require up to 50% domestic travel
