Product Manager

We are Colder Products Company, the industry leader in the design and manufacture of specialized quick disconnect couplings serving the medical, industrial, chemical handling and food/beverage markets.  We are seeking a Product Manager to manage the technical and business aspects of an assigned product line.  The position?s primary objective is to manage new product development projects, ensuring customer and market needs are met from a product standpoint, while maximizing the revenue and profit generated.  Specific accountabilities include:

 

? Serve as Project Manager for new product development projects in the assigned product line.  Typical members of the development team include Marketing, Design, Quality, Materials and Manufacturing Technologies.

? Partner with Marketing and Design in the definition and development of new products, and assure new product developments meet specific parameters and timelines

? Ensure successful transition of new products to production

? Responsible for product costs and pricing integrity across markets

? Review product lines for margin improvement

? Provide technical content for Marketing Communications

 

Our ideal candidate will possess:

? Engineering degree

? 5+ years engineering or business success, including 3+ years experience in Product Management

? Strong communication, facilitation and project management skills

? The aptitude and desire to drive improvements in product and the New Product Development process

? Experience incorporating DFM/DFA into the design process desirable
