Product Managers in Spine and Trauma

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

?  Manage the initiation and development of new and existing product lines (division-specific).

?  Analyze the positioning of their products and competitors to identify strategies for differentiation and increased sales and market shares.

?  Achieve sales and operating profit objectives.

?  Review current business for potential line extensions or new use development programs.

?  Will be aware of and play an active role in product acquisition efforts.

?  Will travel 20-25% of the time.

?  Other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

?  Minimum of 4 to 5 years product management experience desired; 3-5 years of project management and/or sales experience also desired.

?  Bachelors Degree in Business of related field is required; MBA preferred.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

 

?  Must have a solid understanding of market planning and development, forecasting, financial analysis/budgeting and overall marketing management.

?  Knowledge and experience with new product development and introduction processes are essential.

?  Must have a sound technical understanding of surgery and the O.R. environment.

?  Creativity with equal emphasis on strategic and tactical planning.

?  Excellent oral and written communication skills.

?  Strong leadership qualities.

?  Must be highly motivated, well-organized, creative, energetic, insightful, articulate, team oriented, analytical, perceptively diplomatic, self-confident, and flexible.

?  Travel 20-25% of the time
