Ambric is seeking a Hardware Product Marketing Manager for a position with excellent growth potential. The position is chartered to influence products and support FAEs as well as customer and partner engagements. The successful candidate will contribute to the rapid growth of the core products of Ambric by:

 

?  Drives the definition of Ambric?s products for worldwide markets, assisting in the development of the product strategy. Provides product leadership from introduction through obsolescence, evaluates new technologies, articulates issues, and makes clear recommendations.

 

?  Develop chips and boards marketing requirements through product introduction.

 

?  Work productively across all major functional areas in the company including hardware engineering, software engineering, operations, sales, marketing and finance.

?  Discerns new product areas to develop and assists in the development of the product line strategy. Manages the process used to define a product's features. Develops, communicates, and positions the product in relation to other products. Normally works on new product areas of very high complexity and of great potential impact to Ambric.

 

?  Product definition, product and feature positioning, project scheduling, and leading cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

?  Works with marketing communications, public relations, and the advertising teams on the development of product launch activities and materials such as web content, sales presentations, data sheets, press releases, and ad campaigns.

 

?  Independently identifies and analyzes the possible impact of competitive products on Ambric?s products and makes recommendations as needed. Has expert knowledge of competitive products and competitor strategy.

 

?  Creates and delivers formal presentations and conducts group discussions on products for a broad range of audiences.

 

?  Travels as the ambassador for your product, attending tradeshows, customer visits, and press briefings. 

 

Requirements:BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, or extensive technical experience Business degree; MS or MBA a plus 10-15 years of Product Marketing experience. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills An understanding of semiconductor industry and PC industry dynamics Understanding of FPGA's and/or DSP computer architecture preferred. Board level integration. Technology background and aptitude, with an understanding of technical issues and ability to work closely with development teams, product management, analysts, press, partners and customers Ability to identify, articulate and drive customer requirements and market needs into product, marketing and channel programs
