Product Support Engineer

CITY: Baltimore STATE: Maryland COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
1. Formulate a total product plan for assigned customers and/or hardware conistent with technical and business objectives of the Nacelle project/program. The total product plan shall define the program elements necessary to achieve the highest safety and integrity standards for the product and optimum cost of ownership for customers.
2. Support documentation records for reliability, scrap material reviews, service request status and reports, test cell trends, manual limit changes, and other pertinent items. Provide thorough, timely, and quality responses to customer correspondence keeping records of document type, dates, and content. Maintain a follow-up system to assure a timely and satisfactory resolution.
3. Prepare presentations and conduct periodic reviews of cost of ownership and technical issues with assigned customers and interface teams to surface and resolve identified Field issues requiring action. 4. Lead, coordinate, and integrate processes with partners, vendors, and all other internal organizations which assure the highest standards of product performance and technical support consistent with the goals and objectives of GEAE and MRAS.
5. Support processes to improve efficiencies of the team. Maintain documentation as a record of actions and information. 6. Effectively communicate and influence Partnership and Supplier programs, interactions, and relationships.

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. BS in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
2. Significant experience in power plant/nacelle/system evaluation, engineering, and product support.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Demonstrated technical and leadership skills relative to interfacing and support of team play.
5. Demonstrated propensity for program management and knowledge of engine/systems functions.
6. Willingness and ability to do some travel.
