Product/Test Engineer

Product/Test Engineer--Located in Austin, Texas

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

A product engineer who is capable of conducting yield improvement and data analysis on microcontroller semiconductor products.

 

Responsibilities include the statistical analysis and reporting of wafer fab class probe parametric, device unit probe and final test data to identify opportunities to improve the products yield.

 

Working closely with the device, process, product and test engineering teams to drive improvement and providing the data needed to reduce costs, improve margins and identify potential opportunities for product quality improvement.

 

Duties will also include some software database support.

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

 

Strong problem solving, negotiation, collaboration and good communication skills are required. Knowledge of intermediate statistics is a must.

 

Software knowledge of Jump, MiniTab or other statistical analysis tools are desired. Software skills with SQL, PHP/Perl/Python, Visual Basic - Excel, Oracle or MySQl would be beneficial.

 

Semiconductor wafer fab process and device physics is highly recommended.

 

Understanding of advance digital test equipment data output is a plus.

 

3-5 years of experience, plus a Bachelors Degree is required.
