Professional Land Surveyor & Mapper

The Seminole Tribe of Florida has an opening in our Hollywood, Florida headquarters for a Professional Land Surveyor and Mapper in our Real Estate Department.

 

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or a related field.Florida Surveying License (or eligibility to obtain within 12 months).GPS and relevant coursework in survey preferred.Minimum 5 years experience with boundary and topographic surveys.GPS and AutoCad experience a plusValid Florida Driver?s License.Experience in Construction StakingFamiliar with Florida survey standards and lawsGood math and communication skills.  Ability to work independentlyFamiliar with all types of survey instruments and proceduresDutiesThis position reports directly to the Real Estate Director.Responsible for supervising the field crew including instrument crew and Rodman. Operates all survey equipment.Assist in CAD related work as needed.Travel to different locations and reservationsProvide clear and concise notes on a timely mannerMaintain quality control and precision in the fieldOther duties as assigned.
