PROGRAM ENGINEER
Air Operated Valve

The Air Operated Valve (AOV) engineer works within the Engineering Program Department to maintain and improve the station's AOV program and the performance of AOV's installed in the plant.

Responsibilities include: addressing and resolving regulatory and programmatic issues related to the station's AOV program; resolving plant issues identified in the corrective action system; providing technical expertise related to AOV's; taking ownership of the AOV Program and its supporting documentation; and maintaining accurate records in support of plant configuration control. Will act as the engineering liaison to station organizations such as operations, licensing and maintenance to support activities related to program compliance. The AOV engineer will also be expected to qualify as the backup to the Motor Operator Valve (MOV) engineer.

Position requires experience in AOV engineering.
