Program Leader

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Provide leadership and technical direction to a large team for a specific program/project with significant business impact.
* Establish a plan/program, define objective, and identify resources and funding source.
* Manage the program/project, provide interim reports to customer, modify plan as required.
* Provide counsel to team on design practices and standards.
* Effectively communicate with the customer or program manager to assure a quality product is delivered.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
* At least 8 years of experience leading multi-disciplined engineering teams.

Desired:
* B.S. Degree in electrical engineering (MS in electrical engineering preferred).
* 10 years or more aircraft or electrical power system architecture design, analysis and simulation.
* 3 years or more experience with program management, technical writing, presentation skills, MS Office and MS Project.
* Six Sigma Green Belt Certified or able to obtain in 12 months.

General:
Overall leadership and accountability for assigned Aircraft Power System New Product Development projects from launch through production introduction. Specific products include Permanent Magnet Alternators, Brush and Brushless Starter Generators, Electronic Regulators and Control Systems, and Advance Power System Technologies. Leads internal and external design reviews, responsible for closure on all open action items, and providing monthly project status to business leadership with regard to technical issues, cost and schedule.The listing of (GEINFAV: Unison Industries) employment opportunities here is for administrative convenience only.
