Program Management Analyst, Senior

Key Role: Join a growing and diverse team focused on delivering high-level program management services in strategy, financial analysis, and organizational transformation services to public and private sector energy clients around the world. Assist a high-profile US Department of Energy (DoE) program in addressing the management of spent nuclear fuel by conducting management, policy, and financial analyses. Apply knowledge and experience to provide lasting benefits to private clients facing large-scale, complex challenges. Lead a life cycle cost estimate and financial analysis project, including working with subject matter experts to translate technical materials into appropriate policy context for half of the time. Assist the program director and other senior managers in conducting analyses of organizational management and quality culture to facilitate transformation and meet regulatory requirements for the other half of the time.



Basic Qualifications: 

-10+ years of experience with public sector consulting

-5+ years of experience in a project or task leadership role

-MA or MS degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Environmental Management, or Civil Engineering

-Experience with managing or supporting management of large government programs involving multiple acquisition approaches, regulatory bodies, and constituencies

-Experience with analyzing and manipulating large data sets to inform program management and strategy

 

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent client management and relationship skills

-Ability to manage multiple assignments involving junior and senior staff from various teams within the firm

-Knowledge of major DoE programs and projects

-Knowledge of OMB requirements for program planning and budgeting, including OBM Ciruclar A-11

-Experience with DoE’s Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management

-Knowledge of basic frameworks and regulatory systems for the management of radioactive waste, including NEPA, AEA, RCRA, CERCLA, and FFCA
-Experience with international work in either radioactive waste management or the energy industry
