Program Manager - Hybrid

Responsibilities Job Summary:
The Program Manager will be responsible for successful launch of new products and product changes. Will interface with other functions to negotiate for resources and develop project timing plans.  Will provide input to strategic decisions and manage projects consistent with established strategies.  Will provide project reports and help resolve issues with internal and external customers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Communicate frequently and effectively to project stakeholders to ensure that goals and objectives are understood and met.
? Lead and coordinate multiple projects by defining objectives and tasks, assigning ownership, and monitoring progress.
? Provide direction and enforce corporate policies and procedures within project teams.
? Work with cross-functional management to build a collaborative network for current and future project teams.
? Develop working relationships with functional staff in overseas facilities.
? Develop working relationships with customers and suppliers.
? Provide mentoring and guidance to develop independent and capable project team members.
? Develop and deliver project status report presentations.
? Travel requirements vary greatly based on program phases, but will vary between 20% and 40% Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required; engineering or science discipline preferred
? Master's degree or professional certification is a plus
? 5 - 7 years of related experience
? Previous experience with rotating electrical machines or additional automotive components desired
? Excellent oral and written communications skills are  a must
? Working knowledge of project management fundamentals
? Experience dealing with customer issues and proven success in developing customer relationships
? Ability to work flexible hours and travel as necessary
? Proficiency in Windows environment and associated PC software (specifically MS Project 2003) Other Information -Relocation assistance may be available for this position.
