Position Summary
PMI - Advanced Technology Program Manager. Provides Program Management support for Advanced Technology identification, selection, test, certification & implementation on current and next generation Gulfstream A/C.

Plan, organize & manage company and supplier resources to meet assigned program cost & schedule milestones. Develop production, completion & program master & integrated schedules. Responsibilities include program management of all development, test, certification, licensing/patents, product support, quality, reliability & availability and entry into service activities.

1. Tracks program certification schedule and performance targets/guarantees
2. Develops Master Schedules for Production & Completion A/C deliveries and site distribution, for R&D & new A/C development programs.
3. Monitors budgets to achieve lot cost targets and/or desired savings/revenue
4. Administers program configuration control activities and develops/updates product specifications
5. Monitors quality, reliability & availability issues to ensure top drivers are identified & resolved
6. Supports Completion & Service Center activities to meet business & customer satisfaction goals
7. Manages implementation of Fleet retrofit programs to achieve quality, reliability & availability targets/goals
8. Manages Program Office Intranet Web site to maintain Technical & Program updates
9. Support supplier design, & program reviews to insure program deliverables, schedules & budgets are met.


Prerequisites
1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering/Finance or related field. MBA /MS or other advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum Five (5) years experience in A/C design, manufacturing or service & support. Minimum Three (3) years program management experience & minimum three (3) years management experience.
3. Requires working knowledge of A/C industry engineering, scheduling, quality, test, certification, Production/Completion and Service & Support requirements & processes.
4. Requires effective skills in the latest Program/Project management processes & procedures.
5. Requires demonstrated experience in managing supplier engineering, schedules & deliveries.
6. Requires demonstrated leadership skills, sound judgment, excellent financial planning, project scheduling & communication skills.
7. Must be very computer literate with an excellent working knowledge of the latest project management, financial management & presentation software applications.


Required Expertise/Skills: Engineering Support

Unique Skill Requirements:
Requires a strong background in A/C performance testing, measurement & assessment to effectively evaluate new mechanical system & system control technologies on Gulfstream mid & large cabin A/C.
