Program Manager - Process

Position Description:

The candidate must demonstrate ability to successfully: Champion the importance of process capability as a key to organizational success. Encourage and then assess radically different ideas for solutions to problems. Assess cost/benefit, side-effects, risks, and impact associated with significant change. Influence all levels of an organization from senior management to individual contributors to support process projects. Work effectively across functions and organizations. Lead others through systematic problem solving methods. Plan and execute a project using standard project management methods. Design, test, and deploy workflow processes, training materials, templates and other process support materials. Create metrics enabling continuous improvement of program development and other business processes.

Qualifications:

Working for the Program Management Process Manager, champions and oversees Microprocessor Solution Sector processes, their creation, adoption, use, and improvement, including basic redesign if required. Solutions will run the gamut of: work flow clarification or new designs, roles and responsibility alignment, process automation, process templates and other infrastructure support materials, process roll out, training, and adoption programs. Maintains a functional knowledge of reporting tools and their use. Ensures process adoption, including appropriate metrics for effectiveness and efficiency. Maintains best practice benchmarks. Preference for an individual who has worked as an engineering program manager and shipped products. BA or BS, 8+ years industry experience with at least 4 years of functional or Program Management exp
