Program Mananger

Position Summary:
Leads a multi disciplinary, customer-focused business team to accomplish program objectives through coordinated division efforts. Serves as a liaison for customer-to-company interface on program performance. Establishes and implements tactical and operational plans to achieve division objectives. Typically a mid-management level at a large division with high sales volume and multiple or complex product lines; may serve at a staff level at a medium to small division.
Functional area: Business unit leadership of a multi-disciplined, cross-functional team.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Defines projects and specific outcome measures for a cross-functional team identified with a major business program(s). Cross-functional responsibility for various specialty disciplines that may or may not include manufacturing areas. Acts as the business area advisor to division staff concerning specific detail on program performance and contractual obligations. Provides business team direction in developing priorities across multiple projects. Establish standards of performance within overall policy and budgetary limits, with direct accountability for final results. Will work with division/group staff and customers.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for special projects development. Accountable from start to completion of project goals, objectives and budgets to develop new and improved products. Responsible for achieving target costs for all components. Leads the PROJECT TEAM to achieve its chartered purpose and desired outcomes.Creates and tracks the Master Gantt for the entire program; ensures all deliverables and milestones are met per customer request.Creates and tracks the Open Issues List for the entire program; Hold weekly and Bi-weekly meetings as necessary.Ensures that all support division staff members meet their component and validation targets and dates per WIN Strategy.Manages the entire program per WIN Strategy. Holds stage gate reviews per master time plan.Ensures that the PROJECT TEAM is trained as required.Encourages participation, ensures that all concerned are appropriated involved, creates a stable working environment, clarifies the decision-making process and tracks action items to closure.Plan and tracks the PROJECT TEAM effort; achieves BETA milestones

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (BS) in mechanical, electrical, or related technical disciplineIndividual should be highly organized with the ability to see things through completion and hold others accountablePrevious experience with new product launches and new product commercializationPossesses a hydraulic and electronic/electrical backgroundKnowledgable in manufacturing process and a background in design

- JL 10 ?12, depending on background, experience, and skill level
- Lead 4 project initiatives
- Must be a highly visible leader, excellent organizational skills
- Technical and financial background required
- Quality/reliability, VA/VE experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Hydraulic Markets (Ag & Turf)
- Winovation and Parker methods/systems
