Project Director

The S.M. Group International is seeking a Project Director for our structures and civil engineering group in the Metro-Dade/Ft-Lauderdale area. The selected individual would be required to interact with major clients both private and public.

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

 Project Management; providing overall direction to a project or group of project tasks of varying size, scope and complexity.Preparing detailed scopes of work, cost proposals and technical approach.Technical knowledge and plan preparation techniques for concrete structures, steel structures, as well as plans and buildings per local applicable norms and codes.Interfacing directly with clients to enhance progress and develop positive business relationships.Participating in the preparation of technical presentations and proposals for new work.Coordinating with project team leaders to determine staffing and scheduling requirements, project budget and delivery schedules.

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelor of Science in structural or civil engineering and 15 plus years of experience, including 8 years of progressive project management or program management experience required. Licensure in the State of Florida is required.
