Position Description:

Project Resources Company is accepting online applications for a Project Engineer (0608-50160607) located in El Segundo through August 31, 2006.

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
The El Segundo Product Reliability and Optimization (PRO) Project will make significant changes to refinery throughput and product upgrading capability. The Project will make modifications, expansions and improvements to the refinery's Hydrotreating facilities. This Project engineering Position will manage the Hydrotreating portion of the PRO Project. The Hydrotreating Scope is currently estimated at 400 MM$.

Qualifications:

The Project Engineer will manage the FEED and Detailed Design of the Hydrotreating portion of the PRO Project. The job will transition to a Construction Engineer during the Implementation phase. The project is currently in Phase 2 (Pre FEED alternative analysis) with funding expected early 2007. The project scope includes evaluation of new facilities and revamp of numerous existing hydrotreating processing facilities for improved conversion, reliability and increased throughput. The Project Engineer will provide leadership and champion the application of CSOC principles and behaviors to ensure high level decision quality and top quartile cost performance.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of successful Engineering development practices.
- Strong background in the design and modification of refinery hydrotreating processes and the integration of those processes within an operating facility.
- Ability to work in and foster a strong team environment with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of reliability and how to effectively integrate it into the design.
- A strong safety champion who will demonstrate ?0? incidents and injuries behaviors

SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS OR ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS/INFORMATION:

- Bachelor?s degree required in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years Capital Project experience.
- Relocation benefits will be considered.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of successful project Engineering practices, with specific emphasis on Hydrotreating units. Knowledge of CPDEP & CSOC and how to apply these processes to achieve Excellence.
- Ability to work in & foster a strong team environment with minimal supervision
- Strong background in the revamp of refinery hydrotreating processes.
- A strong safety champion who will lead an office environment dedicated to zero injuries while laying the contractual foundation for a successful IIF program in the field
- Previous experience working with a major Engineering Contractor demonstrating ability to coordinate multiple projects in a contractor's office
