Project Engineer - Broadcast/Network Infrastructure/Project 35-45 $/hr

Large communications company is actively searching for an Systems / Project Engineer for a 6+ month contract assignment in Southern California. Requires a BS degree in engineering and a minimum of 10 years of project management and planning experience, including some exp in a Telco/ISP/Large Enterprise environment project managing large scale network deployment. Candidate should have a background in TV broadcast systems design, installation and testing, along with solid project management skills and exp. Candidate will lead a design and integration team to deliver HD broadcast systems backhaul infrastructure roll out expansion project. Candidate must have a good understanding of fiber infrastructure, equipment racks, routers, switches, cross connects, etc, but does not need to be a network engineer. Specific exp as a project manager over large scale infrastructure project deployments strongly desired. Domestic travel may be required (estimated at 15%).
