Project Engineer - Composites Process Eng.

Top company in its field is searching for a Project Manager with Composites knowledge.

 

This position will require relocation in the Midwest.

 

Job Summary:

* Lead application of composite processing systems in their customer plant, to ensure production of specific customer parts.

 

* Perform or oversee all requirements to make first time articles including upfront review parts, programming, process planning and actual production.

 

* Technical analysis and leading development of solutions for complex problems.

 

* Apply engineering statistical and process analysis of machinery for composites manufacturing.

 

Responsibilities:

* Analysis and understanding of advanced designs.

 

* Develop and implement test plans to prove out new machine features and capabilities.

 

* Work closely with mechanical, electrical and software engineers to present and lead problem resolution, review designs, etc.

 

* Propose/implement alternative solutions to problems both on site and at a closer facility.

 

* Lead prove out of machine for customer specific parts.

 

* Work closely with customer to understand and fulfill requirements.

 

Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in engineering

 

* Ability to conduct advanced investigations and analysis.

 

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data and procedures.

 

* Ability to perform under pressure.

 

* Experience working with unidirectional composite prepreg material plus

 

* Proficient with use of engineering analysis and development tools.

 

* Demonstrate success in leading application of engineering principles.

 

* Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
