Project Engineer-Consumer Products
Our client, a major manufacturer of consumer products is looking for a Senior project manager and a Project Manager. Located in the North East, company offers a challenge to those individuals who want to take the next step in their career.
Will undertake multiple engineering projects. The primary responsibility is to manage the New Product Development cycle, create product improvement/engineering of mature products including function, quality performance, safety, cost and manufacturability. Will assume the role of principal contact for assigned projects and Product Managers. . Marketing on project timing, content, and deliverables for product line extensions and for discussions of unique product improvements
Responsibilities include but are not limited to Production Release process, Engineering feasibility studies, design reviews, engineering evaluation, tooling support and budgeting.
Requirements: BS in Engineering(Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical)
Minimum of 2 years Project Engineering experience
High volume, multi-task product development
Consumer product experience a plus
Some Travel involved
