Project Engineer - Engineering/Heavy Industrial/EPC 65-100 K/yr

Client involved in the engineering & procurement of materials for process plant EPC projects has an IMMEDIATE NEED for several Project Engineers & Sr. Project Engineers with 5-25 years of applicable experience. You must have experience managing the engineering design efforts as well as the procurement of materials as a Project Engineer over power plant or process plant EPC projects. You need a BS degree in Engineering or similar discipline. As a Project Engineer, you must be both a capable engineer and administrator, using critical path methods and computer cost control as tools in taking the project from contract signing through start-up. You will be involved throughout the project life cycle, coordinating all engineering input for the initial bid to the customer through final designs in the field. You will coordinate the detailed design with outside engineering subcontract firms you have subcontracted to. You will be in charge of making sure these subcontractors meet customer specifications and project design schedules. You will be expected to travel 15-25% of the time to project sites around the world. Previous experience working for large EPC firms like KBR, FLUOR, ABB Lummus, Bechtel, Black & Veatch, Burns & McDonnell, or a similar firm would be ideal.
