Project Engineer - Food Manufacturing

Our client is a global leader in retail food processing. We are looking for a top-notch Project Engineer that is on a fast track to management. The position will located at one of their largest processing facilities. This facility has over 1000 production employees and is currently going through a multi-million dollar expansion. Location has a great cost of living and excellent schools.

Responsibilities: This position will identify, develop and execute projects to support business initiatives. Will be involved in process and mechanical design work for all departments. Will manage projects individually and as a team with three other project engineers. Will be working with plant management, operations, and quality assurance to develop projects to increase plant efficiencies and cost savings.

Requirements: BS in an Engineering discipline with 2-8 years experience in Food Manufacturing. Successful track record in development and implementation of capital projects. Expert knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC?s. Must have experience with high speed processing and packaging equipment. Because this position will be groomed for management, you must be willing to relocate within the company at a later time. Must be willing to work individually and within a team environment.

Compensation: $65,000 to $75,000 with bonus potential. Full relocation program is available. Excellent benefits including an outstanding 401K program.
