Arc International North America, based in NJ, is the home to 5 very special tableware brands- Mikasa, Studio Nova, Luminarc, Salviati, and Cristal d'Arques. 


We are currently seeking Project Engineers for the Durand Glass Manufacturing facility in Millville, NJ.


Summary: Leads the development, implementation, improvements, and maintenance of systems or equipment for continuous improvement.  Conceptualizes manufacturing plans and provides overall coordination on complex projects requiring the interaction of several disciplines.


? Provides project leadership and supervision in the development, execution, and successful completion of efficient and cost effective projects


? Prepares design concepts, engineering estimates, specifications, and layouts for systems or equipment and their installation and start-up.


? Monitor activities involving suppliers, contractors, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and staff in the accomplishments of engineering assignments.


? Provides full project management tasks on key plant projects.  Includes, but not limited to developing engineering estimates, creating project justification, budget development, creating bid packages, identifying equipment suppliers, developing equipment specifications, providing project updates, establishing project timelines, developing training as required, and successful closure of projects.


? Meets the scheduled requirements within the parameters of approved manufacturing and project plans


? Investigates, evaluates, and recommends designs, techniques, systems and equipment for the modernization, improvement, overhaul and/or repair of systems or equipment on a daily basis.


? Leads or assists in helping solving daily maintenance issues.  Identifying the root cause with mechanics, crew leaders, and foreman?s and problem resolution.  


? Keeps abreast of the latest technology related to business objectives and industry specific trends


? Provides technical guidance to other engineering, maintenance, and technical staff.


? Performs other duties as assigned or requested


? This role requires working closely with the Engineering and Maintenance Manager in conjunction with Department Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and the hourly work force


? Position requires someone who is friendly and persistent. The role focuses primarily on improving productivity, quality, and safety.


? This is a results oriented job, and is not your typical "sit at your desk" role. Much of the time will be spent on the factory floor.
