Position Title: Project Engineer ? 7691

 

Position Summary: A proficient Labview software programmer/project engineer skilled in RT and GUI applications running on DAQ modules to develop ATE for electronic controllers, hydraulic actuators, and electro-mechanical actuators.

 Responsibilities:

*  Develop new test equipment based on Labview software for automated testing electronic controllers, hydraulic

actuators, electromechanical actuators.

*  Develop modular approach to enable re-use of existing software/hardware and minimize re-validation requirements.

*  Generate documentation such as requirement document, user manual, test procedures, test reports etc.

*  Generate and document console architecture of hardware and software modules for automated test consoles.

*  Conduct analyses to validate requirements and develop tests to verify developed software.



Requirements:

1.  Bachelors degree (BS) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

2. Eight or more years of increasingly responsible related software design experience.

3. Excellent knowledge of Labview software and its application on real time hardware. Certified Labview Developer or

Labview Associate working to become CLD.

4.  Demonstrated project engineer experience with design, validation and verification and required documentation for test

 

equipment and test setups.

 

5.  Experience in the development of test equipment functional requirements for both software and hardware.

 

6.  Knowledge of motor control and hydraulic servo valve control desirable.

 

7.  Flight control actuation experience desirable.
